Connected To The Community
Marcia has been part of this community for over 30 years, working tirelessly to make it a better place serving multiple terms as President of Downtown Merchants, President of Women's Chamber, Chaired City Historic Commission, Served on Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, to name just a few of the many diverse organizations and commissions to which she has her devoted time & energy.
Experience That Counts
Marcia has been a successful business owner for over thirty years Founding, owning and operating her successful retail store The Grand Lagniappe Shoppe. She understands the issues facing the small business owner. Her service on the countless boards and commissions give her the ability to read and comprehend budgets and their constraints. Her years of service to nonprofits helped cultivate team building skills.
Open to Conversation
Marcia knows the value of being connected. That's one of the reasons she's running for this position. Long history of volunteerism assure continued connection. She will be available for questions, suggestions & requests and pledges REGULAR district meetings. The Purple House/Grand Delicious Tea Room meeting space located at 811 West Grand Ave will be available for focus groups and private appointments.
